Wet n Wild's Here's To The Wild Ones Collection got me; I picked up 3 of the nail colors , one eye shadow palette , and ALL of the lipsticks . Yep, all of them. I absolutely LOVE the Megalast Mattes; such great pigmentation, feel comfortable, and last forever. All around fantastic lipstick. However, my favorite out of everything is this nail polish. I'm addicted to these olive toned greens and the shimmer and glitter flakes in this polish are mesmerizing. I Moss Have It is a deep olive green with golden shimmer that glows from within a murky base. The formula is awesome, but use a different brush. When first applying the polish I noticed the brush was literally dragging the color off my nail. I pulled out my dusty Julep Plie Wand (I really should use this more because it actually does feel great in my hand) and all was right with the world. Hey Gang! I've been back from vacation for a week now and I'm ready to go back! Anyways, whenever we go to the river we always make several trips to the Walmart in Bullhead City, AZ to grab necessities and snacks (oh, and water too!). I also love to check out their Cosmetics Department because many times I find things there that I don't see at my local Walmart stores. Every trip I end up picking up something and this trip was no different. I actually found all three of the Hard Candy Eye Palettes in Sassy Eyes, Smokey Eyes, and Neutral Eyes (FYI: These are really great little palettes that remind me of the Tin Palettes from Too Faced; check 'em out if you get a chance!) as well as Salon Perfect's The Manicure System . All Out over Be Loco w/ top coat. I wanted to jump right back into the Cult Nails, Road Trip Anyone? Collection so I started with a base of Be Loco . I really wanted to love this; a super bright (borderline neon) coral can easily win me over but the formula on Be Loco was a disaster for me. I used 3 coats and let each coat dry thoroughly but I ended up with a streaky, lumpy, and bumpy mess. This was a total Nail Fail. The consistency was very goopy yet thin. It was really sheer; I would have done a 4th coat but I was done goofing around with it. Thank God I had All Out to save the manicure. I didn't even bother taking a photo of the mani before adding All Out because it was so bad. I do have a nail swatch stick for you though. I honestly have no desire to keep this polish in my stash. 2 coats with a coat of In A HurryTop Coat. I've had the Cult Nails, Road Trip Anyone? Collection sitting in my Acrylic Rack just staring at me. I know summer is winding down and I still have some 'summer' shades I need to wear. So, I decided to give 2 of them some love by doing an accent nail. Luckily these 2 colors work great together. Riot wants to be a minty sea foam green yet its got just a hint more emerald to it making it unique in my stash. It looks better on the nail than in the bottle. The formula is a little thin, but it's very opaque. Those of you who use a thicker application could probably make this a one coater. I like to use thinner coats so I had a few sheer spots with my 1st coat; my 2nd coat finished the job. For some reason the brushes in these seem thinner than usual; it was a little problematic getting it to fan out over my nail. I gave it a few turns to find the best side of the brush to use. Cult Nails, Seduction. 1 coat over: Cult Nails, Flushed.  Could Flushed get any better? Put this iridescent flakie top coat over it and... Yes, it can. Seduction was the cousin to Clairvoyant or Unicorn Puke as it was originally known. For a while there Cult Nails was owning the Flakie Glitter market. People were clamouring to get them. Me, I kind of just sit back and wait for something comparable to come out. I hate trying to buy the popular polish; it ends up being such a drain mentally, physically, and monetarily. After all the excitement died down they were completely sold out of Clairvoyant (AKA Unicorn Puke) and it had been discontinued. However, they still had Seduction in stock and then they had a pretty good sale so I snapped this lovely up. The formula is amazing and really easy to apply. This was one coat with a few extra swipes here and there. It gives great glitter payoff and its not thick, goopy, or gritty. A fantastic flakie glitter. I lo...

Cult Nails, Flushed. 3 coats.  Here's a stunning beauty for you all... Avibrant purple jelly with an intense pink shimmer. For those of you who are quite familiar with Cult Nails you know that a lot of them are jelly types due to the fact that it gives the polish incredible depth and an incredible shiny finish. It's also a much easier to apply. The formula on Flushed did not disappoint; excellent self leveling. A few seconds after polishing I would find a little polish pooled on the side of my nail; the good thing is I always use an orange wood stick to clean up after polishing each nail. I was able to clean it up quickly and easily. I'm thinking it's a result of the self leveling formula. The first coat was pretty sheer but that is to be expected with a jelly. I could have gotten away with two coats but I added the third just to increase the intensity of the color... and it is so beautiful. The brush works well but mine was a little wonky. Dry time was average. ...

Cult Nails, Cruisin' Nude. 2 coats.  Sunlight.  Closeup to show the shimmer.  I'm gonna have to tell you that this is easily my favorite polish of 2012. It wasn't released in 2012, but I didn't get it til' 2012 so it still counts. I love neutrals but I've always had problems finding a good nude that works with my skin tone. This one is perfect and the pink shimmer is lovely. The formula is a little on the thick side, but still easy to apply. I did experience some bubbling which is probably the result of the thick formula but a coat of Seche Vite fixed the bubbling. This was almost a 1 coater but there were a few sheer spots so I did a 2nd coat. The brush is nice; the perfect length and width. It fanned out nicely on my nail and made application a breeze. Dry time was average. On my ring finger a fine black piece of fuzz landed on my nail as I was applying my top coat. Does that not drive you crazy?!? There was no way I was going to be able to...

Cult Nails, Coveted. 2 coats.  Cult Nails, Coveted.   Love the flake glitter... Coveted is from Cult Nails' Behind Closed Doors Collection. It's a deep emerald green with shimmer and flake glitter. It's a green version of Cult Nails' Iconic. The formula is some what jelly-like and let's the shimmer and flake glitter shine through yet is opaque in 2 easy coats. The photos show some visible nail line but it's not noticeable in real life. It's absolutely stunning. It dried really shiny too but I added a coat of Seche Vite to seal it all in. It was just announced that the Pantone Color of the Year for 2013 is Emerald ... Does Maria of Cult Nails have a crystal ball or what?!? I just had two of my nails break; my middle and ring fingernails. It's the hand I normally photograph (my left) so I am showing you my 'other' hand while they grow out. I have a hard time positioning my right hand for photos so they might look a little wonk...

Cult Nails, Enigmatic. 3 coats. I have yet another pedicure selection for you... this one being the complete opposite of the last; a dark and mysterious color that is exactly as the name implies. Enigmatic : of, relating to, or resembling an enigma : mysterious . It's hard to say what color this is; is it burgundy? is it purple? It contains multicolored micro shimmer (heavy on pink) and also slightly larger silver glitter. Looking into it I think of galaxies and space.  The formula was a surprise; I never would have imagined this being a jelly! This helps to explain the depth and complexity of this polish. While the 1st coat went on sheer it was still jam packed with shimmer and glittery goodness. I am very tempted to try a jelly sandwich with this; I will have to find the right glitter though.
