 More after the jump...

I think this is probably two of the most popular polishes for Halloween this year... Initially, I wasn't interested in the LE Wicked Boxed Set but then I saw all of the posts out there in Nailand and realized that these are actually really great.

Roguish Red is a Reddish Orange or Orange Red (whichever you prefer). It is very similar to my all time favorite Essie, Escapades; Roguish Red is just a tad lighter and brighter. Formula is thin and can cause issues with cuticle pooling if you are not careful, but thin coats are no problem with this polish. At 2 coats a little bit of visible nail line is peeking through but I'm not bothered by it. The brush is very good with this polish too; it fans out over the nail nicely. It dried quickly to a shiny finish.

Glitter Goblin is a very dense glitter that consists of small orange glitter and small silver holo glitter. As per the usual with China Glaze there are no varying sizes of glitters or anything, but the silver holo glitter is a nice addition. I used 1 very light coat over Roguish Red and I still got quite a lot of glitter. I think you could get this glitter opaque in 2 - 3 coats. It dried quickly and the finish was only slightly gritty; I only need 1 coat of Seche Vite to smooth it all out.

These two make a very fun combo. I'm going to be adding some stamping to this so stay tuned!

Look at this lovely bottle shot of Glitter Goblin!

  2. Thanks, girl!

I know, I think Pom Trees are so festive... Dark green foliage with bright red fruit... it's like I have a holiday tree in my backyard! I love to give them to my Aunt Karen so she can make Pomegranate Jelly; YUM! But, I think she gets tired of me leaving her to do all the work... HA!
