Misa, Taking Chances and Epiphany.
Misa, Taking Chances. 2 coats on Index and Middle.
Misa, Epiphany. 2 coats on Ring and Pinkie.
First off I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts. My computer has been glitchy and I've not had a lot of time to mess with it. I also had two days that were overcast so I couldn't get any decent photos. These two are from Misa's Fall Wanderlust Collection which I won from Kellie Gonzo. These photos are after two days of wear and as you can see they held up very well except for that crack on my index finger but that's due to my weakened nail where it happens to be peeling at the moment.
Both of these have the same shimmer profile; in these photos Epiphany looks duller but in real life she is just as shimmery as her sister, Taking Chances. I love both of these. The formula is thick due to all the shimmery goodness that is packed into them but they are easy to work with. I did get a bubble or two but nothing serious. They were both a little streaky on the first coat but the second coat filled it all in. Epiphany, being a pale yellow, gave me a few spots that needed a little extra dab here and there but it self leveled nicely. Dry time was normal. They dried to a satin finish so I added a coat of Seche Vite to finish it off.
These are great colors for fall and oddly they are unique in comparison to the other fall collections that have been released. The pale yellow, Epiphany, is seriously amazing; I will definitely be wearing it on it's own. Taking Chances is like a pale copper with some peachy tones; it's very pretty and would be a perfect work-place polish. Copper is one of my favorite metallics.
Today, after Pet Therapy, Nikki and I stopped over at Jackboy's Dog Bakery and picked up Nikki's birthday cake. We will be going to the Carlson Bark Park on Sunday at 2:00pm for some playtime and I will be passing out slices of her cake. While taking a picture of the cake, Nikki and Penny were waiting to see if I would accidentally drop it. Here's a picture of the birthday girl.
Tomorrow I start working Emerald Advance for H&R Block. One one hand I'm happy to get back to the office and on the other I'd rather just be home to enjoy the holidays; but, it is what it is so I'm gonna go in there and kick some butt. Not literally, just figuratively. If you had your choice would you work during the holidays or just stay home and relax?

Would prefer to relax, but I like money too so.. it is hard. Either is fine, if the job is alright : D
ReplyDeleteYour nails are so pretty ! Sympathy on computer issues, four blue screens of death this week over here ! Happy Thanksgiving Kelly!
Yeah, I know what you mean... For me it all has to do with the people I work with. They change up the staff constantly for Emerald Advance and I never know who I'm working with til I get there. Some days I work with awesome people and everything goes smoothly. Then, there are days when you work with some really 'special' people and I wish I could just tap my heels together 3 times and go home.
DeleteI'm saving up this tax season to buy a Mac; I've had enough of Microsoft. They can keep their blue screens of death, I don't want anymore. :-)
