Finger Paints, You Yacht To Know Better.

I've got the Alanis Morisette song stuck in my head now. It's actually not a bad song to have stuck in your head so it's all good.

You Yacht To Know Better is a very pretty dusty blue shimmer with blue glitter. It leans a little dark on me but I'm very pale. If you are a fan of navy blues I think you will love this. It's not the best color on me though. I tend towards brighter blues.

What you see here is 2 coats. The formula was a little on the thick side and the brush didn't want to fan out on the nail so I had more clean up than usual. But you could easily add thinner to remedy this issue (I don't know why I didn't). It dried pretty quick but left a little texture behind due to the blue micro glitter. I topped it with a coat of In A Hurry to get a glossy finish.

After a few days I topped it with a glitter; Lynnderella's Boy-Girl Party. I know I swore off Lynnderella's but I snapped this up from a stash sale for a really good price. The application was really good between the distribution and amount of glitter. The base wasn't too thick and while it does dry gritty all the glitters lay down nicely. A coat of Gelous and In A Hurry made it nice and smooth. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of my nails before it started to chip (when you have this many layers it tends to chip quick). So I did a quick nail swatch stick for you.

One coat of Lynderella, Boy-Girl Party over You Yacht To Know Better. I love all the different glitters, especially the diamond and square glitters.

It was super busy at work the last couple of days; There could be some periods where I won't be able to post but don't worry, I will definitely be back.
